Ok... first some ads.. then I will come back with an actual post.

Nancy Burpee, a paralympic swimmer, recently had some trouble at the 2004 Paralympic Games (incendently held in Minneapolis, MN). She felt she was unfairly disqualified in her quest to qualify for the 50 and 100 meter freestyle swim by an Australian referee. She then contacted simmons jannace & stagg to intercede on her behalf. Due to some comments by the Australian referee, others felt she was disqualified because the ref didn't want her competing against and Australian Paralympian. Despite the efforts, she lost her appeal, but has continued swimming and competing.
